Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

While overall the book wasn't bad, I have an intense dislike for books that end but with a "too be continued" ending because the author has plans to write a trilogy. I feel like it's the author's way to guarantee that future books in the series are purchased. I have no issues with trilogies or series books but each one should have a satisfactory ending without having to read the next book in the series to get that. Maybe it's just a pet peeve of mine because I rarely see references to this issue in reviews. But for that reason, although the author is promising, I won't be purchasing any more books from her.
