I enjoyed the twist and turns until the “surprise” ending. Cam constantly let me down so I really don’t know why I was surprised. Stop reading if you don’t want any spoilers: A poor 17 year old being tricked, no I’ll say what it is, sexually assaulted into becoming pregnant left such a bad taste in my mouth. She wants to go to college, she doesn’t want an arranged marriage or a baby timeline and he sabatoged her birth control knowing how much she wanted to escape. I’m sorry, not redeemable. I would read at least the end of the next book but I’m sure Abby will make the best out of it and continue falling for his bull but I’ve lost all interest. No 17 year old should feel as trapped as this poor girl does. EDIT: I wrote this review moments after finishing the book so I was still riding the high of my anger ... but even weeks later I’m still upset that she was sabotaged by someone close to her (whether emotionally or by proximity) into becoming pregnant. Really we don’t know who did at the end of book 1. I personally would love some revenge on whoever they are.
