I’ve used Clairol Natural Instincts dark brown for years and never had a problem. Not sure why Clairol felt the need to change the formula, but this new formula is AWFUL. The new metal squeeze tube is hard to use. The consistency is gloopy and doesn’t cling to my hair. Then, after rinsing it all out, my hair is limp and stringy and looks like it’s been dipped in a bucket of bacon grease. Worst of all, it turns my roots orange instead of dark brown. Thought maybe I got a bad box the first time, but it’s happened twice now. Won’t buy it again. If anyone knows a good replacement, please let me know.
