I have a K270 I purchased back in 2014, and I loved it so much I wanted to get another, just to have, as a backup/reserve, just in case. Well, I could not have anticipated the level of disappointment I got with this new K270. The quality is so vastly reduced, it's clear Logitech switched manufacturers, both are in China, so that in itself is not the issue. The Chinese are fully capable of making very high quality technological devices. The wireless connectivity is sporadic, cuts in and out even with the USB receiver literally one foot away. We all know how maddening that is. Based on the difference in quality, they have to be saving at least 50%. It's sad, and unfortunately a sign of the times. It's terrible. Don't buy it. I have been a huge Logitech proponent for more than 20 years. I bought the first wireless mouse they offered in the late 90s, which had a giant transceiver, bigger than the mouse itself, and it was awesome! It would still be awesome today. I don't have any alternative recommendations, other than get something else, and perhaps you'll have to pay more than typical consumers expect to pay these days... I do believe Logitech does still offer quality components, but unfortunately it's difficult to tell if that's what you're buying.
