This book is promoted as, "... improved printing quality..." among other things. I'd hate to see what it looked like before the publisher improved it. While the information is a very good compilation, the book designer should be given time out in a very dark corner. From choice of font, to page layout, the book is really hard to read. The text falls into the gutter (inside margin) which means you'd have to crack the spine to access it easily. The single-column layout is over 7 inches wide, which, for the point size of the type, wearies the eye when reading. The headings are in a decorative font that's outlined, which makes them challenging to read, and again in a point size designed for someone with perfect vision, which isn't me! Sadly, the attempt to cut down the page count has made this book irritating at best. This is not something I would spend time reading through casually for interest or education. For a paperback priced at almost $40, it is not a good value in terms of usability. I do not recommend this book.
