OK, but outdated...
If you're expecting to store multiple coins on this, get the Nano X, if you're using it as a backup for your Nano X, does the job. The single most frustrating thing about the S version is the amount of coins you can hold... 3 at best. If you're storing BTC, ETH and one more, that's all you'll be able to store with quick access. Yes, you can delete an app install another to generate the address, write down the address and remove the app to reload whatever 3 you had in there, but that means every time you want to use that fourth less-frequent coin you'll have to repeat the process of removing an app, installing that coin, using it, then removing it again and reinstalling that third one you had.
Being sold in 2020 that should be unnacceptable, hence the low star review. I don't see a technical reason as to why they can't simply refresh this device with a little bit more storage.
Ledger Live, the application used to manage your coins is OK, but has it's flaws. One for instance being that if you use two devices to manage your coins you have to make sure you install the same coin apps on each device (PC Android, etc.). Otherwise it's easy to have multiple devices out of sync with one another in terms of what coins you have on the Ledger. I don't understand why Ledger Live can't simply securely pull all the coins that have been generated on a Ledger each time you connect it rather than having to install the app through Ledger Live each time, and repeat the whole process I mentioned above regarding 3 coin limitation.
Besides that, Ledger Live, for many coins, requires a 3rd party software wallet to be installed on your PC or Mac. Examples being XMR and NEO. So now you easily find yourself installing half a dozen software wallets because the Ledger sure can generate the keys but cannot manage the transactions.
