British myth more than Fact
Actors did a fine job, however, most were British. And, seems like a view presented from the Brit perspective i.e. a bunch of inner city rebel thugs with no scruples dodging "law and order." Sam Adams portrayed as a drunken tax collector for the crown, John Hancock a money grubbing, self-aggrandizing merchant, and John Adams a milquetoast voice in the background. And, Ben Franklin, a womanizing drunk. When in fact, these men pledged their lives, honor, and fortunes for liberty. I don't think these were pledged lightly nor to preserve their 'wine, women, and carousing'.
No mention of God or His Providence, no spiritual content, and little if any of the economic, philosophic underpinning of the quest for liberty detailed.
Acting and setting were fine as far as they go, but a dumbed down, American revolution "light".
