I got this for my mother who doesn't use a Smartphone. I have a Premium Spotify account so I'd planned to make her a playlist, download that sucker and let her go to town. The copy in the description leads you to believe you can leave your smartphone behind! Nope. You have to have your smartphone with you at every step of the way. Charging, syncing, powering on, etc. If not, you lose battery power and can't charge it just using your computer or other USB device and it actually says to you: "Failed to load playlist. Please open Spotify." If I wanted to open Spotify, I'd just take my phone with me, now wouldn't I? Don't waste your money and time on this junk. It's not fully baked yet.
