I have owned several pairs of Brooks sneakers over the years and never had an issue. Received my new Brooks Ghost in and all seemed well, but 6 hours into a 12 hour shift my feet started to ache. Never happened before with new Brooks sneakers. Got home after a terrible day at work and compared my shoes with several other pairs. Everything seemed to match, so I get my old boxes out to compare. My old boxes clearly state made in Vietnam, but the new shoe box had a label placed over it, so you could not see where they were made. After some research on line, evidently the Brooks shoes come with a gel insole in them and my new shoes came with thin paper like insoles, so these are definitely not Brooks. I ordered another pair from another company. First thing I checked, was the label, sure enough, it said made in Vietnam, nothing place over it. Next, I checked the insole and yes it is made of Brooks genuine gel insole. Worked the entire next day with no issues! Definitely returning the imitation shoes, as I would not pay 25 dollars for them, let alone 140 dollars! Hope this helps!
