Too good to be true
Looks to be good marketing of an over priced product. Having been unable to find what type of steel is used, or even what general category (stainless or high carbon) the steel falls into, and the plethora of words that actually say very little about the knife itself in the companies marketing, I will not be buying any Kamikoto knives. The initial discount I encountered (this set and a wet stone for $265) sounded too good to be true, and after trying unsuccessfully to find detailed information on this product I have concluded that it is.
