I was excited to receive my new Instant Pot Lux80, that excitement faded fast when I opened the box only to discover there was not an instruction manual included. I continued to remove the IP from the box, upon closer inspection it was obvious this particular IP was used, the inside of the liner pot was scratched from prior use, there were hard water spots inside of the liner as well. By this time all excitement had faded. Not knowing if the IP would work since it was a returned item, I tried it anyway. I steamed some leftover smoked brisket from a catering job, we were totally impressed with the end product, the brisket was so moist and tender, it hadn't lost its smoke flavor, nor had the color of brisket changed. Why only 1 star? No manual and the IP was used when I paid for new.
