Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I was skeptical of all of the other reviews that I read recently saying that Optima's quality has diminished, so I purchased one anyway. Unfortunately after only a few weeks of use I began to have issues with it retaining a charge. After a year of using it, it finally died, only before sending a short through to the ECU causing my car to stall in the middle of a road and blow a fuse. After the incident the battery won't even retain a charge for 24 hours. DO NOT BUY OPTIMA! I am also not going pursue a warranty return since I do not want this trash in my vehicle any longer. P.S. I personally ruled out shorts in the vehicle, a bad alternator, and excessive battery drain with the car off; there were none of these.
