The pads stick and hold items in place well. HOWEVER, I put one on the dash in my SUV and one on the center console in our Prius and whatever chemical these are made of or treated with left a permanent stain on the dash of our SUV and the material of the console of the Prius has severe deformities and the material now looks like it has warts. I have tried everything to remove the dash stain on the SUV to no avail. Not sure what to try on the Prius console. I am afraid it may be permanently damaged. Just make sure to place these pads where you don't mind the underlying surface being damaged.
