I am about 90% certain that the flats that I got this time are fake. I have gotten these and other Lucky Brand flats before and they have always lasted for at least 6 months to a year before wearing out. The pair I got three weeks ago already has a tear in the leather! And I have been walking less than usual, not more. I have worn this pair of flats maybe ten times. The lining also popped loose and the overall quality of this pair of emmies seems less than I expect from Lucky. I whole heartedly recommend Lucky Brand flats in general, but with Amazons apparent quality control problem, you might be better off getting them straight from Lucky or from Nordstrom.
