I can't recommend this helmet. I was excited to find a helmet that fit my 9 month old so well! Things went downhill from there. While on our first bike ride, I looked back in my bike trailer to see the helmet completely covering her face like a mask, with the straps tugging at her neck. The inside adjustable ring had come detached from the helmet (it is held on by 2 flimsy strips of Velcro). I thought maybe it was a fluke, so I reattached and reapplied the helmet and it happened again 1 minute later. We had to ride the rest of the way home helmet less. This is a poor design and is not safe. It would be a great helmet if this inner ring was permanently attached. I had to return this product.
