Everyone in the industry is currently moving to veg caps to be able to cater to the ever expanding market for customers who are either vegan/vegetarian, want only organic non-GMO, or are Jewish, Muslim, Hindu or any number of other demographics of customers. They used to use very high quality Pullulan veg caps but now use "Bovine" gelatin which EXCLUDES all of the aforementioned customers. Bovine gelatin comes from bones, cartilage, skin, tendons and hooves of cows who are fed antibiotic and pesticide laced foods which is what you end up consuming when eating bovine gelatin. This company decided to cut costs and go with the cheaper and LESS HEALTHY option of using bovine gelatin. AVOID companies who opt for cheaper ingredients as it means they are cutting corners and sacrificing quality.
