I love the concept for this product but the item itself is not good. I don't understand the positive reviews I see. I found this item to be very flimsy and weak. The long piece of plastic that holds the entire footrest in place is very fragile and I can see it breaking easily. In fact, the product also makes clear on the item, the box, and in the instructions not to use this item to stand on or as a step. ???!? That makes no sense. No matter how careful, your child will have to stand on this footrest for the most briefest moment in order to sit or get out of the seat. And so are we supposed to lift our kids up in the air and place them in the seat in order to avoid stepping on this thing? Ridiculous. I don't understand why manufacturers keep doing this. Please make a quality, solid product! If the product is solid and excellent, we will happily pay whatever the higher price may be especially when it comes to products for our kids. But to build this flimsy of a product and charge us $50 for it? I mean we have 2 kids, that's $100 for this substandard item. You've got to be kidding me. We happily returned ours. I recommend that you avoid the hassle and stay away from this item.
