I had high hopes for this table. I needed something for my alarm clock, cell phone, nook, etc. This was cheap and would fit perfectly in my situation. It was certainly easy enough to install and use. No complaints there. The shelf had no issue supporting the weight of a combination of the above mentioned items. The issues soon arose when someone got in or out or moved in the bed. It basically turned the shelf into a springboard that launched whatever was on it! My alarm clock would stay on the shelf until there was movement, then it would launch off the shelf and onto the floor. luckily my cell phone and nook were flat enough to just bounce in place. I don't think I'll return it, but I certainly can't use it the way I wanted to. I'm disappointed.
