As a bird lover I was really looking forward to this book. I received it today and I'm so disappointed by the way it was printed. This book has beautiful photographs that are ruined by the binding. These photos were obviously not taken to be spread across two pages. I have posted pictures of several examples and there are many more in the book. Even if you try to press the book flat (which is not possible) you still can't see the full photo. This is not a large book and it should have been printed in a larger format so the beautiful photos are not marred by the fold of the binding. Terribly disappointing. I expected better from National Geographic. The two stars are only because the photos I can see are nice but the printing deserves zero stars.
