This dish rack looks nice on day one and is absolutely disgusting after a few months. It has so many grooves and crannies where water sits and eventually turns to sludge, and cleaning it is an absolute nightmare. It takes me not less than 30 minutes to get this thing as clean as I can and it's still not sanitary when I'm done, no matter how hard I scrub. And don't get me started about the bamboo knife holder, so much bacteria accumulates in and there's no way to get in to the grooves to clean them except to pour gallons of boiling water into them. This rack used to come in white and I guess the manufacturer thought the sludge wouldn't show up as easily in black. I do not recommend this product, by far the worst simple human product ever, and as I write this I'm inspired to toss mine and get something less fancy and less high maintenace.
