They are batteries, they fit my fan remote, and are exactly what I was looking for at a great price.
Update: 11/25/2016 An Amazon ask me about the expiration date on the batteries, which I had not noticed before. THEY EXPIRED 03/2016! This seller is counting on my inattentiveness to be successful.
