Had been using it a couple of weeks when a molded slot, or rail, for one of the straps broke off resulting in a very hard fall. Granted, it does vastly improve your ability to use your hands with a foot injury (a ruptured Achilles tendon in my case), but in a effort to protect my injury I took the brunt of the fall on my shoulder and knee. Also, the foam pad wears down very quickly leaving nothing between your knee and the hard plastic, which gets painful very quick. I used a hand towel to try and provide some padding. If you do purchase this I would recommend you use it lightly, because with an injury like mine I could have easily caused serious damage resulting in weeks of lost recovery time, or worse. So all that stuff in the youtube video's about going about your life, doing chores, and even walking up/down stairs....forget that!! I can't imagine what would have happened had I been on stairs or carrying something. In addition, for me to return it under warranty I would have to cover the return shipping both to and from, and I would rather throw it in the trash.
