Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I've been using this brand of pen for years, and they must have changed their recipe or I got a bad batch or something, because while they do white out, they dry with a crackly surface that when you try to write on it it crumbles and flakes off. I've tried applying it more thinly and more thickly to see if that's the problem, but no, no matter what I do, the result is a crumbly flakey mess.
