To those of you who are like me and always read the comments before buying, *please* take a second and read mine. This item is garbage. It's that simple. It arrived in fine shape and wasn't broken, but it does not do what it is advertised to do. At. All. The fan setting produces no air at any setting and the "mist" setting is laughable. The only way to get any relief is to stick your head directly in it and even then, it's not cold. I tried it with both cold water and with cold water and ice. I feel so lied to by the other reviews for this product. I had such high hopes due to the high ratings everyone else gave it. I'd give 0 stars if that were an option. Mine's going back today. There have been very few times I've made purchases from Amazon and been disappointed. This comes in at #1. Please consider buying another portable AC fan/unit rather than wasting $60 on this.
