Upon opening the box, I notice 2 of the 6 bowls had arrived with a significant dent at the base of each bowl. It has to be noted the package was intact. Subsequently, I believe this had to have happened prior to shipping during the manufacturing process. Anyway, I returned the bowls to Amazon. Initially I was contemplating giving it away as a Christmas gift, but decided to try it out first and buy a second set if it met my satisfaction. Imagine keeping the box closed for that long and then opening during the holidays. This is a lesson I learned a long time ago of what not to do... Inspect. Inspect. Inspect.
