I used the waffle iron twice and it made great waffles. Then the heating element stopped functioning correctly on half of the waffle iron, thus burning one side consistently and cooking the other to perfection. I contacted the company and they would not replace the product. They made me send pictures and answer several questions and then required me to send it in for testing, at which time they may or may not replace it. In the age of options, go with another brand that stands behind their product. For now, my kids will have to eat an oddly shaped waffle as the burnt pieces are cut off to make the waffle edible until I can research another brand. I would give it 0 stars if it were an option.
