To say that I am torn is an extreme understatement. I suffer from neck and back pain on top of not being able to breathe if I sleep on flat pillows. To remedy my issue, I have slept on mountains of pillows for years. It wasn't until I got married that my husband pointed out that I sleep like I don't want to be touched. I decided to try these pillows. Never have I spent this amount but I was sold on every single attribute. The first night (Oct 10th) was a dream. I was so comfortable, I'm sure I drooled. I was so happy with my purchase. A week goes by and I discovered two mosquito bites on my arm when I woke up. No big deal. Apparently because of my blood type I'm bug bite prone. A couple days later my husband discovered my back is covered in new bites. By now it's Oct 20th (date the photo of my back was taken). He immediately thinks bed bugs but I'm thinking it's no way possible. I've never dealt with bed bugs and I consider myself to be a very clean person so I'm trying to figure out how in the world would I have bed bugs??? Also, admitting you have a bed bug problem is EXTREMELY EMBARRASSING! I go to sleep on the night of the 20th still in denial. But two nights later I was awoken around 3 AM by something crawling/chewing on my arm. I grabbed it and pinched it and brought it into the bathroom and showed my husband and after looking at photos on the Internet we discovered a bedbug. We tore up the room with cleaning, steaming, and spraying. The only thing I did not allow my husband to touch with spray were the brand new pillows. that first night after a bedbug discovery is very sleepless and full of paranoia. but I woke up with no new bites. The second night I woke up with one new bite on my arm so we stripped everything down steamed, sprayed, and cleaned again. At this point I was attached to these new pillows like a loving relationship with a boyfriend and I did not want to let go. Because of my sensitive skin I was afraid that spraying the pillows would have caused me to break out or have an allergic reaction and difficulty breathing. I also thought that the extensive work that we did should have and would have taken care of it. So I went to sleep feeling like we finally had success. in the meantime I decided to come back here and look at the other reviews to see if I was the only one experiencing bedbugs from these pillows. Unfortunately, I am not. Needless to say I woke up yet again with a new bite on my arm and at this point the only place that the bugs are coming from are the pillows that I purchased here.
