A Cheap Fix
I returned the brass nut to the pool store and didn't purchase this T bolt, and made my own setup for $ 2.55.....I purchased a 12 inch long Zinc threaded rod 5/16- 18 thread count from Home Depot hardware dept.for 1.00 , ,and bought the package of (3) 5/16 -18 couplings that are 3/4 inch long so it grabs the rod just like the brass,to secure it ,and on the end where the T-bolt would go through I used a 5/16 - 24 thread count nylon stainless steel nut ,the different size thread made the rod thread into nut and grab without going all the way through ,worked perfectly, and the extra rod ( I cut it in half ) and the other 2 couplings ,I have at least another use of these for the $2.55.I know it's not Stainless, but it will last long enough with a ziploc bag wrapped around it since I live in Phoenix ,just thought I'd share since it took me a few trips to the pool and hardware stores just like i'm sure you all have ,,,Good Luck.....Oh ,and the picture on the left is the remaining pieces for if it ever strips or rusts out.
