Faulty receiver exploded after powering on
The original remote switch I had for a floor lamp in my son's room had a battery leak and needed to be replaced. I purchased this model as a replacement and switched out the remote plugs from the previous remote and plugged the lamp in. When I hit the switch to turn the light on, the remote popped, smoked and caused the circuit to pop. I cannot recommend this to anyone.
