I just returned my third lock. I really loved this lock when it worked. I have come to the conclusion that if you live in an area where the humidity is high you will not be able to use this product. I live in Alabama. Each time I had to take the malfunctioning lock of (keypad stopped working) I noticed that inside where the battery pack and circuit board are located the lock was full of water even when it hadn't rained. My assumption is that the high levels of humidity had created condensation. I loved the lock but the Design has serious flaws if it allows moisture to build up inside the lock itself and it fries the electronics. It seems to me this should be able to be fixed but I suppose the company doesn't care.
