This monitor was great out of the box. My son saved his own money to make this purchase. The problem is the screen completely pixelated up the middle of the screen two months later! We sent it in to Viotek for what they called "warranty coverage." They've had the monitor for nearly a month with no word on how long it will take to return it to us. Lo and behold, they email today and told me it would be $219 if we want it fixed (The original price was $199). How is that coverage? NEVER AGAIN will I buy from this company. They don't care at all about selling defective products to their customers. Like I said, great out of the box but you risk it only lasting a VERY short while. Lesson learned- do not trust Viotek. I would give it zero stars for the overall quality and the poor customer service, but the 1 star represents the initial 'out of the box' quality of the monitor. UPDATE: After going round and round with Viotek customer service I learned that the box my monitor was sent back to them in was damaged en route via the carrier! They had pictures and all, but no one told me that they just sent me a bill to "repair the damaged screen." After a month, I finally got a new monitor free of charge (the carrier busted the screen so it was not able to be fixed). I am not updating my stars until I see how this monitor works and if it lasts longer than the original one (which was 2 months).
