Purchased this product as a backer on Indiegogo. 1 year and 1 week, and many many delays, after backing the project I received my Prepdeck. One of the cited reasons for delays was to fix the issue of the lids not sealing on the containers. I believe that particular issue was responsible for several months of delays. So imagine my surprise when I get my Prepdeck and once I take the lids off I cannot get them back on. Why? Because the gasket is so flimsy that it won't stay in place when pushing the lid back on the container. It buckles and slides. Only by turning the container on it's side and using a fingernail to hold the gasket in place could I get the lid back on. The containers are very thin and flimsy feeling. The lids are going to be impossible to get on or off after a use or two. The sharp bladed tools that are supposed to snap on to the containers have no good place to grip them making for a serious safety hazard. The smallest containers are completely rounded on the bottom so they are useless outside of the Prepdeck. And the cutting boards are not durable enough to withstand daily use. Save your money. Buy a couple of good knives, a good mandolin, and some Rubbermaid containers for your mise en place. This is not the work saver you're looking for. P.S. I purchased two so I could give one to my daughter and her husband as a gift. Both arrived at the same time, but with no packing slips at all in the boxes so I had to unpack everything in both boxes to figure out which one was mine and which was hers. Only one box contained a Prepdeck instruction manual. The entire Prepdeck experience has been a disappointment.
