Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I was disappointed in this case for three reasons: 1. It doesn't stay closed; 2. It's heavy without being substantial or stable; and, 3. if you want to use the Fire as a tablet, i.e. no typing, the case is such a pain in the *** that you can only preserve your sanity by removing it. Having been a long time Kindle user I was astonished at the difference in quality - in construction and design - between this case and the "built in" case on my last two Kindles. At this price point this case compares to a Logitech keyboard case that my daughter bought for her iPad, and, unfortunately for me/Amazon, loses. Badly. Having failed to read the reviews before buying I don't think that I can return this item in good conscience. Instead I'm going to throw it out and count the loss as a form of tuition for the education on never buying without researching.
