Here's the thing: I bet these work great if you aren't passing a lot of power through them. If you get anywhere close to their maximum capacity, they will fail. I've had two fail on me now running a consistent 1200 watts through them. I don't know if these just weren't designed to have that much power passing through them 24/7, but clearly I need a beefier solution. If they can't handle the power for extend periods of time, they should lower the advertised power rating. If you are passing less than 1000 watts continuously through these, I'm sure they're fine.
