After reading so many positive reviews, I decided to purchase this jig - I am now really surprised at the positive reviews, as they do not match my experience of this product. The photograph of the jig shows that the drilled holes are round and uniform, but in the jig that I received there was a mixture of round and oval holes in slightly different sizes. The pegs do not fit snugly in the holes - they are generally loose, though there are a few holes that are too small and the pegs need to be pushed in hard to fit. The larger sized pegs are also too long for the jig! and pop out of the hole (wobbling 2mm above the jig) when the jig is placed on a flat surface. I understood that advantages of the WigJig models, but their jigs and pegs are quite expensive and I was reluctant to spend that amount, which is why I decided to trial this cheaper model that already had different sized pegs included. I have since purchased a WigJig, and though the initial expense stings, it is a vastly superior quality product, and for me is worthwhile investment in making professional, good quality pieces of wire jewellery with ease rather than frustration. I was also inspired to try this Deluxe jig as it was used and recommended by Cynthia B.Wuller, a professional jeweller, in "Inspired Wire". Again, I am really surprised at the poor quality of this product. Maybe I receieved a faulty one? because otherwise I cannot account for such positive reviews and recommendations.
