One of the worst pieces of tech I have ever purchased
This thing is basically a paperweight attached to the top of my Airstream.
1) Its most basic function, being a WIFI extender, is horrible. It loses connection constantly, even when the RV park has very good WIFI (we are able to connect our phones and computers to the RV Park's WIFI just fine). Actually EXTENDING the range? Pffft. Yeah, whatever. This thing sucks.
2) From an LTE standpoint, this might be the most ridiculous and poorly conceived antennas of all time.
Winegard CLAIMS that this device is AT&T and Verizon supported, but it uses a mini-sim and Verizon won't even let you activate it when trying to do a BYOD hotspot plan. They just released this product within the last year... and they launched it with a 8 y/o SIM standard.
Emailed Winegard to complain, and they basically just said "tough luck"
Winegard, you should be embarrassed and ashamed to not only have designed and released this turd... but about how you treat your customers.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
