I was super excited about this product and what I read. When I got it, it was slick and I couldn’t wait to set it up. However, I had NO intention of using the monitoring service that required a monthly fee. I find them added expenses that I can track on my own. When I started activating the app, I found I can only use the app if I pay for their monitoring services. Now, I have motion sensors and a camera that are basically paper weights for me. I’ll stick with my Arlo cameras that not only notify me of motion, and record, but allow me to call the police directly from their app and set off an alarm for FREE.. the door chimes will be good for when I’m home. Hope they make the app free someday, but until then, I might just send it back because it seems like a waste of my money
