The long life battery lasted less than two years, it refuses to print without a new battery, and the replacement battery (which come from China so you know it's high quality, really expensive) costs more than the unit. Consider this a THROW AWAY unit in less than two years. More usage may very well deplete the battery sooner. I am still on the first label cartridge, making only an occasional label here and there. You battery is only made by Dymo, so forget finding a cheap replacement or using off the shelf batteries. Its a real oddball.
