This leash arrived today and it seems sturdy, but.... It smells awful! The plastic clasps REEK like spilled gasoline. They spread this stank to your hands with the lightest touch and the smell does not wash off. I do not know how harmful this actually is, but if inhaling gasoline fumes is problematic, this is much worse. The smell will be wherever you keep the leash. It will be on your hands after repeated washing. And perhaps most distressingly, it will also wind up on your dog who has 5000 times more acute smelling than you do, so he/she will likely be miserable to be saturated by the smell of gasoline. This is an absolutely disgusting, and perhaps dangerous, product. ZERO STARS.
