Looks like Weller made a quick and dirty $40.00 off of me. I used this thing three times... I guess three times is the MTBF for the WLC100 40-Watt POS. I mean, I realize it is their budget iron but come on... really? Of course, I am outside of my Amazon return window so now I have to take this upline to Weller and waste my time. Understand that your mileage may vary and some people out there were fortunate enough to buy a working one but not in my case so this is my chance to voice my dissatisfaction. Lesson learned, buy something good going in, don't do like me and try to cut corners and buy cheap, it doesn't pay in the end. Also... always have another soldering gun on standby... LOL Sorry, I'd love to stay and chat but I have to go now... it's going to take a long time to remove these capacitors at 77 degrees.
