A Mess of a Company selling snake oil!
Back in the 1800's there were traveling salesmen who sold elixirs and claimed they cured everything from baldness to the flu. The only thing in these bottles was snake oil. By the time people figured this out, the salesman was gone and they couldn't get their money back. This company reminds me of these snake oil salesmen since you can get the same information in this program for about $10-15 in parenting books and you'll never get your money back from this company.
I researched this product because a family member has been having a situational problem with her toddler lately and she heard about this program on a Christian radio station ad. Here is what I found:
James Lehman died in 2010 of cancer. If this company was in his name, it would likely be in probate right now as part of his estate. A company cannot pay out any "refunds" or credits whatsoever while it is in probate. While James and his wife have degrees in social work, They are not licensed clinical social workers. In most organizations to be a counselor, you have to be licensed: just like nurses do.
The total transformation product is based on a common sense consistent "tough love" reward and consequence system that can be found in many $10-$15 parenting books. You don't need to spend over $300 for 8 CD's and books! Plus, the program is geared more towards pre-teens and teens, not all children like they claim. They have a very lucrative affiliate program in which they pay very well for every favorable review that generates a purchase. That is why there are so many extreme reviews: either really good or really bad.
Just because someone advertises on Christian radio, does not mean it is legit. These people have called my sister three times in the last 24 hrs since she called to inquire about the product. They are getting really aggressive in their sales techniques! First they told her that if she fills out a feedback form within 30 days of purchase, they will credit her first payment of $100 back. But, this offer was only good while she was on the phone. On the next call, they told her that if she filled out the feedback form witin 30 days, they would give her extra time to make her first payment. Then, on the last call, they told her that if she filled out the feedback form within 30 days, they would refund ALL her payments. I don't see how this is possible when in 30 days she would have only made one of the three monthly payments of $100 each. How can they refund two more $100 payments that she has not even made yet. Hmmm.
I just don't trust someone who has a past of felonies for theft and drugs like James Lehman does (this info is on his bio on his website). I don't trust a company who doesn't even disclose that the product creator or owner has passed away over a year ago. If he was such a great, innovative guy, why don't they make that a selling point and say that this is the legacy he left us? I smell a snake in the grass!
