I purchased this to use in conjunction with my A5 6-hole filofax. This hole punch failed me on the following items: * The two sets of three holes this punches are too close together to be used in the A5 filofax. -- The metal punches themselves are not adjustable so there is no way to correct this -- This means that in order to get the holes in the right places on the page each page requires two separate punches. * The word "adjustable" in the description refers to a flimsy plastic strip that pulls out of the from the bottom of the device. It is marked with the various paper sizes and has little bumps on the underside to "click" into place for each paper size. -- I only use A5 size paper, so I cannot speak for all of the sizes on the adjustable slide, but when you "click" the adjustable slide to the A5 position and punch your holes (once for each end of the page) the holes are too close together to fit in the binder properly. You pretty much have to readjust after each punch, and this wastes times and paper as it would take several attempts to get it "just right". If you use A5 6-ring filofax style planners/journals, do not waste your money on this particular punch. I have since purchased the Chris Wang hole punch here on Amazon -- it is truly adjustable (the metal punches can be moved), it is better quality, the adjustable slide is sturdier and the markings are actually accurate, and most importantly, it punches all six holes in the correct positions at on time!
