Like many others, my unit did not last more than 8 months of irregular use due to the power button failing to stay on, the auto off feature no longer working, and the pump speed seemingly reduced to a trickle. I got around the power button issue by holding down the power button, a minor inconvenience, but I thought it would still turn off upon when the receiving tank was full. That assumption was incorrect. Then discovered that the speed of the pump was degraded overall even with fresh batteries. Not good. Concept is wonderful, and the pump worked perfectly when new, but for the price and simplicity of the product, I was expecting more than 1 year of use, let alone 8 months. If the company addresses the durability and build quality issues, it would be worth revisiting, but not the current iteration of this product.
