Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I've used this stuff for several years. When I got back on a few weeks ago to buy my next two-pack, I was surprised to see the negative reviews, many of which said that this seems to be a counterfeit, since the color of the packaging is slightly off, the scent is more like a gross hairspray scent (rather than a neutral or slightly pleasant scent that it usually has), and its general inability to function the way it always had. Honestly, I dismissed those reviews, since I have been buying it here for a couple of years at least. Well, I wish I had paid attention. What I know for a fact is that one of the following is true - either American Crew has dramatically changed their product's formula and packaging (and definitely not for the better), or Amazon is selling a counterfeit product here. For the high price of this item, I think most people would agree that it's an indulgence. If you're going to indulge yourself with a high-priced hair product, it should be better than this.
