Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I purchased these directly from the Fjallraven website in February 2015. The pants looked great and I was excited to try them out. After one overnight camping trip, which included very light wear I came home and washed them per the instructions. I went to hang them for drying and noticed a few small holes (photo) and many loose threads. I sent an email to Fjallraven explaining what happened and Joe.Balog@fjallraven.us who responded, "The damage pictured resulted from contact with an abrasive or sharp object. This is considered accidental damage which is not covered under warranty and we do not perform non warranty related repairs". I KNOW this was not the case as these scuffs are on the front of the thigh and would have been visible during the car ride home. BUT even if they were from a sharp object, the reason I bought from Fjallraven directly was too make sure the warranty would be honored. If this isnt covered by the warrant I think it begs the question.. what is? THE WORST PART ABOUT ALL THIS AND WHY IM REVIEWING ON AMAZON.. is because I know many people go here for reviews and when I posted my reviews on Fjallraven's site THEY WERE DELETED!!!! I reached out to Joe for comment, but haven't heard back. I don't review often, but I want to help set expectations for a $150 pair of pants.
