I was in love with this product because it was high SPF and it felt so light and not sunscreen-y, but Consumer Reports recently tested a bunch of sunscreen brands and EltaMD was one of the brands that did not live up to it's SPF claims. It was determined that EltaMD is actually less than SPF 30 (They weren't the only brand, I suggest looking up the full article). I had also given a bottle to my mom, who burns much easier than I do. When I told her about this article, she remarked that she thought she was burning too easily when she used it (compared to what she used previously), but she wasn't sure if she was imagining it or not. Now we know she wasn't... very disappointing.
