Not worth it for 100$. Even joycons are better.
1 Star. Absolutly not worth it for the price. It's missing ANY form of rumble. Not just HD rumble, any at all. Anything more then a single star would imply I can recommend the controller in certain situations, but that's not the case. The face plate and swappable thumbsticks are a cheap gimmick to add onto the price tag. What's mainly advertised are the back bumpers which I have issues with. Decided to play Monster Hunter Rise for a solid 50 hours on my main profile to get a good test for the review and here's my thoughts... - Back paddles are not comfortable on this controller. The paddles are far too sensitive and feel cheap. - Function buttons (Start, Select, Home, Capture) prodrude out, meaning you cannot "slide" your thumbs onto them. Your thumbs *thud* againsed them when trying to use them efficiently. - The shoulder arch is far harsher then the Switch Pro controller, making movement from the back of the controller, to the shoulders uncomfortable. - Headphone Jack is pointless. It does not work with the switch wirelessly. - The D-Pad feels slightly better then the pro, but is too far to the right to be comfortable for long gaming sessions. - NONE of the buttons are given breathing room. Especially the A, B, X, and Y buttons which are much smaller and closer together then the Switch Pro's, making use of them uncomfortable. (See image for above 2 bullet points) These may seem like nitpicks but at this price tag, you'll want to use the controller for years to come. The fact I have problems with it a week in are a sign of a bad manufacturer, and lack of testing.
