I just bought this at Best Buy. The top half of the screen has a brown hue. My Kindle Paperwhite 1st generation has no such problems with lighting. At this price there should be no problems. I'm disappointed. Update: I gave this device an adequate test run. Although the contrast is better than the Paperwhite , and it can be set to brighter levels, I can't justify this purchase, at a premium price, for a sub-par product. Additionally, it's a fingerprint magnet. Also, when I was resetting it, since I will be returning it, when the bottom part turned black with the Kindle logo page, I saw what appeared to be a sparkling pin sized dot in the black image that wouldn't wipe off when I tried to do so with a cloth. When I bought the 1st gen Kindle Paperwhite, when it first came out, I gave it 5 stars. I wish I could do the same for the Voyage, because I was excited to get it, and wanted it to be the device the professional tech reviewers were raving about.
