I honestly don't understand the great reviews. I was looking specifically for a hand held vacuum and I purchased this one based purely on reviews. It's also a decent brand so I was really shocked when I used it the first time and it was terrible. At first, I thought I was using it incorrectly, but nope. No matter how I use it, my couch looks exactly the same when I'm done. As other reviewers said, it blows out more air than it actually sucks. You can feel suction on your hand, but as soon as you apply it to anything else like a couch, all gone. I gave it too many chances for too long and was unable to return it. I still have it and I haven't touched it in months. What a shame. Good thing it was cheap.
