It was super late when I ordered this and I was tired and I had already spent waaaaaay too much time researching affordable garment racks that would't buckle under the weight of a chiffon blouse... Saw this had gotten the best ratings -- what a great excuse to stop searching and just buy something. So I did. And perhaps had I not been so tired or frustrated I would have noticed THE VERY OBVIOUS DESIGN FLAW THAT RENDERS THE RACK (sorta) USELESS. Look at the rack width. Now look at how straight it is. Imagine trying to fill both racks with clothes (which is basically the whole point of buying a double rack, right?)... And unless you're using junior mini hangers made for toddlers, the picture you're painting in your mind will probably just look like a jumble**** of hangers -- a chaotic mess of twisted clumps of plastic tubing (or sturdy cedar if you're fancy).... because that's what happens when you try to fill both racks. The hangers are clumped together which makes hanging stuff up sort of pointless if the purpose is to help preserve your clothes' shape and keep them wrinkle free. So you have to adjust the hangers so they line up straight (but then you might as well just buy a single rack) or angle them into a V formation as if they were geese or something. My reviews aren't usually like this. This ****ing rack just makes me so bitter. The only reason I gave it 2 stars and not negative billion is that it was a.) relatively easy to assemble, and b.) really does hold quite a bit of weight. I loaded mine up with heavy winter coats and blazers and it didn't buckle a bit. I can't attest to the sturdiness of this alternative but at least they have the design down Organize It All Double Adjustable Garment Rack 1719... CURVED... to allow for length of the hangers! Novel idea, I know. Brilliant. 'Premium Heavy Duty Double Rail Adjustable Telescopic Rolling Clothing and Garment Rack' -- I shake my fist at you.
